Feedback from Oliver age 10.
Dear Kate,
Thank you for the books you gave me I have read puppy dog tales and really enjoyed
it and I can't wait to read the next ones.
My reading has improved a lot and I have all so read the second series of unfortunate
events I really really liked it and I am really pleased because that was the first
proper book I've read on my own, and I understood all of it and can remember it
all too I'm really glad.
thank you again Love Oliver.
Professor Bruce Evans : I "track tested" The Gobbies on a recent four hour train journey with my son, aged 9, dyslexic but a good reader and my daughter aged 7, inattentive in the nicest possible way and the stories were a big hit. In fact the children have asked to keep them so they can re-read ( hope this is OK!).
A parent’s view from Mr Davinda Singh of Manchester; Both my son and myself have enjoyed reading The Gobbies. My son has a natural love for animals and so they especially caught his imagination. The morals behind the stories are good educational tools and allow him to learn while he is having fun.
An Optician’s view, Mrs R. Pullum; I am delighted to send you my opinion of The Gobbies books and their use for children with dyslexia, as you can see I am most impressed! I feel sure that the progress a child achieves in reading with this system is powerfully reinforced by the positive messages within the charming Gobbies stories.
Sharon Sperling, Principal Yong People’s Librarian & Learning Resources Manager; The Gobbies appear to be the kind of material that we could add to stock for use at our School Library Service, where we advise schools on the use of resources.
